Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Steubenville Florida. Your generosity is critical to the success of the conference. Volunteers must be Christ centered practicing Catholics dedicated to serving youth. You must be 21 years old prior to the start of the conference and a registered parish member of your Diocese.

Steubenville Florida Youth Conference is a wonderful opportunity to bring youth into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. Your role as a VOLUNTEER is vital to the conference. By agreeing to serve as a VOLUNTEER you agree to fulfill the obligations which pertain to the specific area of responsibility to which you are assigned. This obligation takes priority over attending the conference itself.

Anyone age 21 or older who has not had a background check with a parish of their home Diocese within the past five years must have a background check completed before volunteering for a Steubenville Florida Conference. Only background checks from a Diocese can be accepted. All information regarding background checks will be kept confidential.

Prayer Ministers are needed throughout the weekend. Ministers pray with teens and spend time in the perpetual adoration chapel on site while praying for the conference and making sure someone is always present with the Blessed Sacrament. These volunteers should be comfortable praying with others and make others feel comfortable praying with them. They should also be good listeners.

A mandatory workshop for Prayer Ministers is Friday, June 13 at 9:00am at Lynn University.

There will be a MANDATORY volunteer meeting/retreat you must attend. We will review duties and responsibilities.

Volunteer housing is available beginning Friday through Saturday night.
