This year we have chosen work to support the Pro-Life movement and help in the battle to end Abortion.

Two local agencies in West Palm Beach area are Birthline and Lifeline, and a newly formed group called "Miracle House" are collaborating to preserve life and protect the unborn babies from abortion. At one abortion clinic in West Palm Beach over 6,200 abortions are performed each year.

Our group often gathers and prays on Saturday mornings in front of the clinic. It is horrifying to watch the women of all races and creed go in an out for their procedures. “Murder in front of your eyes.” Occasionally the prayer team is able to convince a mother not to go ahead with the abortion. Lives are being saved, one soul at a time. We want to adopt these babies and give them some type of limited support through gifts or money to help them keep the babies.

Birthline/Lifeline

Birthline/Lifeline offers compassionate help to women who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy by providing them alternatives to abortion. They offer free pregnancy testing, with referrals to the Health Department for Medicaid clearance. Once the expectant mothers see their baby in the ultrasound a high percentage keep their babies and look for support to bring the infants into their homes.

We are challenging the youth to bring any of the following to support these critical ministries of our church.

Items to consider bringing to Steubenville Florida: Maternity and baby clothes, baby items for a nursery set up, toys, car seats, strollers, diapers, or gift cards to Babies R US, Wal-Mart, to give to the expectant mothers who visit the centers for help.

Offer to say a rosary for the unborn at your youth groups and talk about the evil all around us.
